Somewhere between the printed card and the WhatsApp forward, wedding invitations lost something.
A printed invitation used to be an event. Someone chose the paper. Someone drove it to your house. You held it, opened it, put it on the shelf. The invitation itself said: you matter to us.
Then invitations went digital — which should have made them more magical, not less. Instead we got JPEGs. Beautiful ones, sometimes! But a JPEG in a group chat is scrolled past in three seconds, buried under forwarded good-morning messages by breakfast.
The idea: make them play for it
Playful Invite starts from a simple observation: things you earn feel more special than things you're handed.
So instead of opening a static image, your guests get a link that opens a tiny game — pop the bubbles and watch them light up a heart, connect the dots, tie the knot. Twenty to forty seconds of delight. And then the invitation reveals itself: animated, musical, scroll-driven — your story, your celebrations, your venues, your RSVP.
(Worried about grandparents? Every game shows a skip button after 20 seconds. Nobody gets locked out of a wedding.)
Built for Indian weddings first
Indian weddings aren't one event — they're a Haldi, a Mehndi, a Sangeet, a wedding, a reception, each with its own venue and time. Our invitations treat that as the default, not an edge case. Family names go where family names belong. The RSVP asks veg / non-veg / Jain, because your caterer will ask you.
Regional template lines — Rajasthani, Kashmiri, Marathi — are on the way.
